Ubiquitous blog Stereogum is following up their popular Radiohead tribute album with another great tribute, this time to REM’s Automatic For The People. A number of artists on the Ten Music roster are involved - including Dr. Dog (Park the Van), Dappled Cities (Dangerbird Records) and Figurines (The Control Group). As always, the time to get this group of tracks is limited - so get over there in a hurry!!!
Matthew Dear kicked off his United States tour recently at the Mercury Lounge in NYC. The tour, which has seen the well known DJ/Producer step out from behind the decks and pick up guitars, drum sticks and really whatever else he can get his hands on, has people buzzing. Flavorpill and Blender both covered the event. Dear will coming to a city near you soon - with the Mobius Band - in a tour not to be missed.
